Clean room, but noisy elevator affected my sleep quality during my stay.

Clean and comfy getaway

Just spent 3 nights as a couple. The room was super clean, and the bed was comfy. The staff were really nice and helped out whenever we needed. Breakfast was simple, but tasty! Only wish there were more breakfast options. Also, it could get noisy at night due to nearby parties, which was a bit annoying.

The hotel offered a good location close to the center, which was a major plus. The breakfast variety was appreciated, although the rooms were quite small and the shower layout could have been better. Overall, I enjoyed the vibe and the helpful staff made a positive impact.

Cozy room, charming lobby, the staff was very helpful in providing recommendations for local dining and facilitating our bus reservation. The location was conveniently close to the bus stop from Keflavik Airport....

The location of Local 101 is perfect, just a short walk to the center of Reykjavik. The staff are friendly and made me feel welcome right away. I enjoyed the comfortable bed, which helped after a long day of exploring. Showers had excellent water pressure, making for a refreshing experience. On the downside, the small double room felt cramped, especially with winter gear needing space for drying. I faced some inconvenience due to the lack of hot water at times and the breakfast service could definitely be faster. having to wait for bread wasn’t great, and the coffee was lukewarm. The cleaning standards could also be improved as I noticed some inconsistencies during my stay. Overall, I liked the atmosphere but wished for better amenities to match it.
